SCULPTURE and PHOTOGRAPHY

JEFFREY GLASSER

I was encouraged to take up sculpting shortly after starting my dental practice by the owner of the building in which I had my office. After taking an evening non-credit course at the University of Miami, I continued at the instructor's studio. When she closed the studio I worked on my own. Most of my sculptures are in aluminum, alabaster and bronze. For the aluminum I make a maquette and have them reproduced by a fabricator. They can be made in various sizes.

My interest in photography started shortly after sculpting. I use film and digital capture and process and print in silver-gelatin, platinum/palladium/gold and with archival ink on cotton paper. I am mostly interested in tight compositions and careful print technique.

Comments are welcome. Information and purchase of sculptures and photographs on request.
